Hoarder of Happiness

  I stared down at my collection of crystals. (A collection that I hope the adults don't mind me having.) One of each color. Well, except for orange. I kinda had a lot of orange crystals. I found out about these things earlier today at our scavenger hunt. They're magical crystals, they can make people feel different emotions. I was instantly fascinated. Even more so when I found out that the orange ones are able to make someone happy! I made sure I got one of each, being careful not to touch the crystals on the others, they all were bad emotions. Anger, envy, confusion, even sadness. Why would anyone ever want these anyways? Other than for the sake of completing a collection. I continued thinking. Why doesn't everyone just have orange crystals?

  "Why doesn't everyone just carry around the orange crystals anyways? After all, happiness is good." I thought to myself.


  I picked up an orange crystal and suddenly I felt like the happiest thing to ever exist. My fear and my sadness disappeared. I felt like I could take on the world.


   Yes, happiness is definitely good. So why wouldn't you want to feel happy all the time?
